Always Was, Always Will Be
In honour of NAIDOC 2020, the Oorala Aboriginal Centre reached out to Rose Lovelock, Acting Director of the Armidale Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place, and the Community to create a video message around the theme Always Was, Always Will Be.
Rose Lovelock talks about seeing the concept of Always Was, Always Will Be on the table as a priority article for all of us to examine. She says, ‘It’s about humanness, it’s about respect for each of us, it’s about how do we make sure that our humanness can be understood outside of our communities?’
